Charming Mill
This site, built circa 1785, was operated as a mill
until 1916 and is
located in Centreville, Virginia. In 1935,
the founder of U. S. News and
World Report,
David Lawrence and his wife Ellanor purchased it
as a
rural retreat. It is ideal for medium to
large-sized meetings or
retreats.
Features include
one
spacious room on the upper level
with a working fireplace, and a smaller
meeting room
on the lower level with a working fireplace.
There is a
cold pantry and expansive terrace
overlooking
Big Rocky Run.
