Dr. Barbara Frank,
was "green" decades
before it was cool.

In the late '60's and early '70's, her academic studies leads to the
first "green"
Environmental Geology doctoral research at the University of South Carolina.
- In the '70's and '80's her pioneer work in
experiential "green" learning helps thousands of students, teachers and military personnel to
develop a "green" awareness; also earning her the nickname "Doc Rock."
- In the early '90's, Doc Rock leads federal government efforts to promote "green"
partnerships with academic institutions, industry, non profits and local governments.
- In the late '90's Doc Rock creates Meeting Oasis, a
"green" meeting center so that non profit
government and corporate teams can tap into the calming and creative benefits of being at a green venue.
- Since 2000, Dock Rock innovative "green" team building fosters green leadership, green workplace and green
